David Lewis has tertiary qualifications in mechanical engineering and almost 30 years experience in product and process design, and development in the food processing and materials handling industries. He has been responsible for special purpose mechanical system design and construction for Australian and International companies in industries as diverse as snow making and mining to drying and packaging.
The Applied Food and Feed Extrusion Course is unique in that it is able to present the blend of the fundamental principles of extrusion technology with its practical applications. The speakers are able to transcend learning hurdles in mathematical and engineering concepts of extrusion know-how by using adequate visuals as learning tools for the training and citing their vast production experiences.
